Kris Bishop serves as a Chief Financial Officer for a range of clients at Financial One Accounting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Davenport University where she majored in Accounting Information Management.
Prior to joining Financial One, she started her accounting career working as an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist for a country club and then moved to a tier 2 multi-state automotive supplier where she worked as an Accounting/Human Resources Manager for several years. She then served as the Director of Accounting at Oakland Family Services, moving her career into the non-profit sector. She managed 7 accounting, 3 maintenance, and 2 information technology team members for over 11 years.
In January of 2013, Kris joined the Financial One Accounting team as a Controller, continuing her work with non-profits. In April of 2022 she was promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Her specialization continues to be in the social services and child advocacy sectors.
Kris has two daughters, Macey and Marisa and in her personal time, enjoys spending time with them and camping.
