Founded in 1980, for more than 40 years, the Michigan School of Psychology has provided graduate education in Clinical Psychology, offering master’s and doctoral degree programs. Located in Farmington Hills, MI, the school enrolls approximately 200 graduate students annually. These students are preparing for careers as psychologists and psychotherapists. The doctoral program is APA accredited. An additional program offering provides curriculum in Applied Behavior Analysis – preparing graduates to work with individuals with autism. A mental health clinic provides access to low cost psychotherapy and psychological testing.
Since 2012, the Michigan School of Psychology has outsourced accounting services to FOI. As a small, non-profit organization, these services have provided essential expertise, separation of function and effectiveness of all accounting, banking, and financial procedures. This partnership has afforded a full complement of financial personnel and resources that would have otherwise been unattainable.
“The team at FOI is accessible, knowledgeable and supportive of the needs of our institution. They really see us and work collaboratively with the staff and the Board of Trustees to ensure effective operations. There is a high level of expertise available within FOI; the CFO and controller consistently provide creative and up-to-date recommendations on best financial practices. Our school has been in good hands with FOI – they are a partner in our success!”
